rooftop pool fresh options local tips narrow alley inadequate lighting echo noise
The rooftop pool provided a refreshing escape from the heat. The breakfast offered a good start to the day with fresh options. The staff assisted with directions and local tips, I appreciated that.
The alley leading to the building felt unsafe at night. It was dark and narrow. I found the room lighting inadequate, especially for reading. The noise from other guests in the central courtyard echoed into the room.

Acceptable stay in the Medina
central location rooftop terrace dark alley garbage around
The location is near the Souks. It makes it easy to escape from the city bustle. The rooftop terrace was great. I could unwind each evening and watch the sunset.
The riad locates in a dark alley. Walking there felt scary. The rooftop terrace was not well maintained. I saw garbage around.

musty odor inconsistent temperature
the staff arranged transportation to the airport without issue, though the price was higher than expected.
the room i occupied, the 'economy quadruple room', had a pervasive musty odor that detracted from the experience. the air conditioning unit struggled to maintain a consistent temperature, oscillating between too cold and uncomfortably warm, this made restful sleep difficult. furthermore, the promised 'city view' was obstructed by an adjacent building's poorly maintained exterior.
